No other season is quite as vibrant and colourful as the summer, which is why bold, statement colours are bang on trend this year. Think zesty shades of yellow, tangerine and magenta to name a few - with the general consensus being the brighter the better!

What's more, this is a trend that can be tapped into by any body shape as there are a range of different styles out there designed to suit each and every body shape. Whilst bright colours have very much always been en vogue, this year the trend is taken to new heights with colours really being ramped up and brightness going off the scale. The key to carrying off this trend is block colour, with plain matching bikini bottoms and tops. Given that the swimwear is such a statement in itself, this trend is best kept simple so the cut is clean and embellishments are minimal. One such highly innovative fashion show was organized for the young designer Priscilla Jade from Miami who had a passion for hand crafting since childhood and home sewing skills came for her through blood; her grandmother being an expert in it. The designer wear lingerie of Priscilla Jade was for the first time showcased in a New York Fashion Show at the Valentine’s Day of this year. The venue was lucky strike New York the show was hosted nu Devorah Rose.

The theme and stage setting of the show was quite different as away from a regular runway the models walked on bowling alleys with the pins being changed constantly behind them. The title of the show was kept to be the Anti-Valentines Massacre and the lingerie showcased by the show truly went with it. Apart from being a promotional and social event for Priscilla, this event had charity causes as well as its proceedings benefitted the Seven Star Animal Sanctuary. Tickets for the show were sold online as well and overall it was greatly appreciated by many.

The fashion show took on a variety of models and those too of various sizes. The lingerie showcased mainly employed silken textures adorned with frills and laces and amazing cuts.
